The Progressive Agriculture Foundation® Board of Directors Announces New DEIA Statement
[[July 12, 2024; Birmingham, Alabama] – The Progressive Agriculture Foundation® (PAF) Board of Directors is proud to announce the approval of a new Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) statement, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to inclusive outreach efforts. As the largest rural safety and health education program for children in North America, PAF has reached over two million individuals over the last 30 years with its hands-on interactive safety initiatives.
Progressive Agriculture Safety Days® (PAF Safety Days) offers over 30 safety topics, including disability awareness and mental well-being, providing PAF Coordinators the flexibility to choose delivery modes and topics tailored to their community's unique needs. With 295 PAF Safety Days happening in 2023, almost 90,000 participants received youth safety education last year.
Dedicated to meeting children where they are, the PAF Safety Day program ensures inclusivity for all communities. From rural, underserved areas to the U.S. territory of American Samoa, children from diverse backgrounds are granted equitable access to safety education.
