What is a Volunteer?
As we take time during National Volunteer Week, April 17-23, 2022, to celebrate these vital pieces of our organizational puzzle within the Progressive Agriculture Safety Day® (PAF Safety Day) program, it’s a great opportunity to thank those who volunteer in so many ways.
To our more than 400 PAF Safety Day Coordinators, without you and your dedication we could not reach as many children, in as many communities, as we do. And we also want to acknowledge, and extend our sincerest thank you, to the nearly 20,000 volunteers each year who help make the PAF Safety Days a success as you are there to pitch in with any number of tasks before, during, and after the Safety Day. To those individuals who have helped pick up trash, served a meal or snack, been a group leader, stuffed take-home bags, taken pictures – and the list goes on – we would like to say THANK YOU.
We appreciate everything that everyone does to make the Progressive Agriculture Safety Day program a success year after year. You are all an essential piece of this organization and we could not do it without you.
Happy National Volunteer Week!
